Rome : Architectural Musings Image 24 Previous Photo Next Photo Back to Photo Index Page
The variety of street angles in Rome is amazing and I am sure it is every town planners nightmare, but it greatly makes up for it in style. This alleyway curving around the back of a church and ending with a roof top garden, is a gorgeous use of space. Doorways, trims and windows of different sizes are splashed over the alleyway walls to compliment the nostalgic look while the high building angles give much needed shade from the sun.
