A typical example of an urban street building in Rome with the
facade
split into several different banks of windows and the lowest
row showing a nice
wooden shutter
design for ventilation. I love the often forgotten details, like the
drain pipes attached to the building seams and the variety of
designs decorating the edges.
The top of the building is where everyone likes to have a few plants
and often a rooftop garden with a
balcony
to get away from the noisy streets below.
