The small rooms around the Processional Way are full of
Mesopotamian
artifacts like large animal statues,
richly decorative column bases and
reconstructions of column designs
supporting the ceiling. The gateway statues
were often a synergy of different animals and had large amounts of
ancient text carved into their base.
