In the Vatican Museum besides the central courtyard was a huge display of Roman antiques. The initial corridor was covered from top to bottom in shelving featuring a sea of different types of roman busts. At the far end was a doorway leading to the Braccio Nuovo gallery built by Raphael Stern featuring the Augustus of Prima Porta statue. The collection was incredibly diverse and the quality was remarkable considering how old these statues were.
