Rome : Architectural Musings Image 14 Previous Photo Next Photo Back to Photo Index Page
I found this church buried in the back streets around the Pantheon and like so much of Rome it had gone through a lot of structural changes. Some of the windows had been filled in but the frames were still remaining and various wall sections were bulging out with no rhyme or reason. The surrounding buildings had merged into the church in some unusually angled way that the overall shape of the building looked chaotic, but certainly more interesting.
