The Berlin Aquadom is at the center of the Radisson Blu Hotel (formerly Radisson SAS) offering special bedside views of a towering watery wonderland. Built (2003) by the US company Reynolds Polymer Technology the Aquadom is a tranquil home for 2600 fish and 56 species swimming around in over 900,000 litres of seawater.

The Aquadom is the largest acrylic cylinder in the world, with an eleven meter diameter and built on a nine meter tall concrete foundation. At the center of the Aquadom is a special lift which offers vistors of the Berlin Sealife Center a chance to see the fish and coral up close. The feeding of the fish and the cleaning of the fish tank is performed daily by a pair of full-time divers.
